Turku authorities have bought the building of the former diplomatic mission, Channel 24 <a href=\"https:\/\/zakordon.24tv.ua\/finlyandiyi-pobuduyut-dityachiy-sadok-mistsi-kolishnogo-genkonsulstva_n2442387\">reports <\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The city council adopted the relevant decision on November 27. The building of the former Russian Consulate General will be purchased for 1.6 million euros. The house has a considerable area of 2,000 square meters.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turku buys the former Russian Consulate General<\/h2>\n\n<p>The property is now owned by the Senate&#8217;s state real estate department. The former Russian diplomatic mission is to be demolished. A new building will be erected on the site of the Turku consulate, most likely a kindergarten.<\/p>\n\n<p>But before that, the territory of the former Russian Consulate General will be cleaned up.
