It can burn for 5 to 8 hours, is not afraid of wind, and <a href=\"https:\/\/novyny.live\/society\/kak-sogretsia-zimoi-esli-ne-budet-otopleniia-piat-reshenii-53982.html\">can<\/a> even <a href=\"https:\/\/novyny.live\/society\/kak-sogretsia-zimoi-esli-ne-budet-otopleniia-piat-reshenii-53982.html\">heat<\/a> a small room, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/novyny.live\/\">News.LIVE<\/a> article.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How you can use the trench candle<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>This &#8220;gadget&#8221; is suitable for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>heating;<\/li><li>lighting;<\/li><li>heating food;<\/li><li>water heating;<\/li><li>drying things.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you need to have to make a trench candle<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>You will need the following tools:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>metal ruler;<\/li><li>knife;<\/li><li>a kettle or a convenient saucepan (to heat the paraffin);<\/li><li>a metal jar (a can of canned food will do);<\/li><li>cardboard (corrugated cardboard from boxes);<\/li><li>paraffin (you can use old unnecessary candles).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to make a trench candle<\/h2>\n\n<p>1. Cut the cardboard across the corrugation into strips slightly less wide than the height of the can (3-5 mm).<\/p>\n\n<p>2. Screw the strips tightly and insert them into the prepared metal can.<\/p>\n\n<p>3. Insert a strip of cardboard wick inside, which will be slightly higher than the &#8220;snail&#8221; (you can make several in different places of the candle).<\/p>\n\n<p>4. Finely chop the wax and melt. It is advisable not to mix natural and artificial waxes.<\/p>\n\n<p>5. Stir the wax constantly during melting to prevent it from burning and do not bring it to a boil.<\/p>\n\n<p>6. When the wax has melted, pour it into the tin with the cardboard. You don&#8217;t need to go all the way to the top &#8211; the wax will set anyway.<\/p>\n\n<p>7. You can fill the jar three times to make it burn longer.<\/p>\n\n<p>8.
