However, Ukrainian intelligence services do not confirm this information, the Kyiv Post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kyivpost.com\/uk\/post\/31023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">reports<\/a>, noting that there is no sufficient evidence of a high probability of an attack.<\/p>\n\n<p>A source in the Ukrainian security services said that the final decision on the attack had not yet been made. &#8220;The situation is tense, but our intelligence does not indicate an attack is imminent in the coming days,&#8221; &#8211; the Kyiv Post source said.<\/p>\n\n<p>This information comes amid growing tensions between Iran and Israel. On April 1, Israel launched an airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, killing a senior officer of Iran&#8217;s Al-Quds Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi. Israel did not comment on the attack.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the attack, Iranian officials threatened Israel. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said on state television that the attack &#8220;will not go unanswered,&#8221; and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei claimed that Israel &#8220;will be punished.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>The US CIA also warned of the possibility of a military operation by Iran against Israel within the next 48 hours, but no concrete evidence of such an action was provided.
