This time , the main&#8221;hero&#8221; of their fantasies was the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine , Kyrylo Budanov. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Kremlin propagandists, Budanov has allegedly become a threat to Volodymyr Zelenskyy due to his growing popularity and&#8221;close ties to the CIA and MI6&#8243;. RIA Novosti even refers to non-existent ratings, where Budanov is allegedly 18% ahead of Zelenskyy. <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, the Russian publication claims that Budanov may&#8221;position himself as a presidential candidate &#8220;, using his contacts with US intelligence.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is worth recalling that Russian propaganda is generally very happy with the spread of rumours about Kirill Budanov &#8216; s possible resignation, which have intensified recently.
