Order of Russian Defense Minister Belousov No. 610 of October 10, 2024, excludes hepatitis C from the list of diseases that prevent service in the army. This was reported by<a href=\"https:\/\/gur.gov.ua\/content\/zeky-z-hepatytom-u-miasni-shturmy-detali-mobilizatsiinykh-zmin-na-rosii.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/gur.gov.ua\/content\/zeky-z-hepatytom-u-miasni-shturmy-detali-mobilizatsiinykh-zmin-na-rosii.html\"> the GUR<\/a>.    <\/p>\n\n<p>A special procedure for enrolling hepatitis patients in the occupation forces designates them as &#8220;contingent C&#8221;. Before being sent to the front, they are formally injected with a hepatitis B vaccine and undergo a course of hepatitis C treatment. <\/p>\n\n<p>It is estimated that this mobilization will involve thousands of prisoners. For example, in the prisons of the Central Military District, there are about 10,000 people with hepatitis, of whom 15% have expressed a desire to fight. <\/p>\n\n<p>The first four assault companies of sick prisoners are being formed as part of the 1435th and 1437th motorized rifle regiments.
