Deputy General Designer of the Mars Design Bureau Mikhail Shatsky was found dead in the center of Moscow with a gunshot wound. According to the Karta Budanova telegram channel, this is another successful operation by the Ukrainian special services.
According to the Russian channel Utro Fevralya, Shatsky was a key figure in the Russian defense industry. He led projects to modernize the X-59 cruise missiles to the X-69 level and headed the direction of introducing artificial intelligence into unmanned systems of the Russian armed forces.
“It was this designer who was responsible for improving the missiles used by Russia to attack Ukrainian cities. His liquidation is a serious blow to the Russian military machine,” – say sources close to the DIU.
According to the sources, the special operation was conducted despite enhanced security measures in the Russian capital. This once again demonstrates the high professionalism of Ukrainian intelligence officers and their ability to operate in the heart of the aggressor country.
Experts note that the loss of such a specialist will significantly slow down the development of new Russian missile systems. “Such specialists cannot be quickly replaced or found,” military observers emphasize.
At the time of publication, Russian law enforcement agencies remain silent, which may indicate that the Russian leadership is confused in the face of another powerful operation by the Ukrainian special services.
It is worth reminding that this is not the first successful DIU operation in Russia. Ukrainian intelligence continues systematic work to neutralize key figures involved in the development of weapons against Ukraine.
